Overview
Imagine gliding silently through one of the world’s most beautiful natural landscapes — no engine noise, no emissions, just you and the fjord.Description
Nærøyfjord is not only beautiful. It is UNESCO-listed. One of the most untouched and majestic fjord landscapes on the planet — and now you can experience it up close from one of Norway’s most modern and environmentally friendly vessels.
Future of The Fjords is fully electric — silent, clean, and designed with one thing in mind: to give you the ultimate sightseeing experience. Large panoramic windows stretch from floor to ceiling, ensuring that nothing stands between you and the steep mountainsides, white waterfalls, and idyllic fjord villages passing by.
The cruise passes old farms clinging to the mountainsides, narrow passages where the mountains rise almost vertically from the water, and waterfalls thundering down into the mirror-like fjord. This is the kind of view you remember for the rest of your life.
Fully electric operation does not only mean a quieter experience for you. It also helps keep the fjord as clean and peaceful as it has always been. The batteries are quickly charged at the quays in Flåm and Gudvangen, and the specially built quay in Gudvangen collects all grey and black water — nothing is released into the fjord.
