Airboarding

Overview

Departure: Tuesdays (Dec-Jan), 15:00 - 16:00/ otherwise Tuesdays, 16:30 - 17:30

Description

Feel the rush of speed with an exciting airboarding adventure in Beitostølen. Lying just above the snow, you’ll steer your airboard down the slopes using your body weight. This adrenaline-filled activity combines fun, control, and pure winter excitement—perfect for anyone looking to experience a different and thrilling way to explore the mountains.

Your experience begins with a short introduction and safety briefing from your guide, who will explain how to control and steer the airboard. An airboard is an inflatable sled where you lie on your stomach and guide your direction by shifting your weight from side to side.

Once equipped with a helmet and instructions, you’ll head to the slope. Using a snowmobile and sled, your guide will transport you to the top for each run, so you can focus entirely on the thrill of the descent. Each run offers a mix of speed, control, and excitement as you glide just above the snow, creating a unique sensation unlike any other winter activity.

Airboarding is perfect for those who enjoy a bit of adrenaline, whether you’re with friends, family, or traveling solo. The activity is suitable for participants from around 10 years and up and requires no previous experience—just a willingness to try something new.

After several runs, you can warm up by a bonfire with hot drinks, sharing the excitement of your adventure in a cozy mountain setting
