This record is even more valued if we consider that the waterfall is consisting of a single, vertical drop, entirely free-falling, not regulated and flowing with a considerable volume. Take the bus from Klingeberg to Utladalen and enjoy the 2-to-3-hour hike of today, which will bring you to get known with this little gem unknown to the crowds, whose fame and excellence has been immortalized in the book "Under Storen" ("under the big one"), where Vetisfossen carries the definition of "queen". It has fame to be is the steepest standard-gauge railway in Europe, and you will be able to see it with your eyes; mountains dramatically cutting down to valleys, rich and powerful waterfalls, whilst you can enjoy the views from a cushy, cozy and comfy seat in the warmth of the train. After the scenic ride – and a close encounter with locals - get down at Vatnahalsen and prepared to harness your adrenaline with the Flåm zipline, the longest in Scandinavia with a whooping 1381 m. Shoot yourself at 100 km/h, admire the pin-point turns of the old mountain road and reach the valley where you will take the bicycle and spin away in direction of the Flåm Marina, ready to take the connection to Gudvangen, to your next accommodation.

Day 7
Viking village, bus to Bergen
In
Gudvangen there have always been several places of worship since pre-Christian
times, as the name suggests ("vang" being the noun for open space in front of
places of worship, and "Gud" as noun for God), but today locals have recreated
a Viking village to remember and celebrate the importance of the place in local
history. Wander through the huts and discover how Vikings used to live, work
and spent their free time.
After this enriching experience, you will be taking the bus to the second city
of the kingdom, Bergen! After a 3-hour ride, you will reach the coastal town
which has served as capital city during Medieval times, first center of
